Carving it out.

I love an art class, and block printing was no exception. Creating designs in negative space and as a mirror image can really break my brain, but once I figure it out, I relish the carving process. Printing a block can take some trial and error, but it’s so rewarding to see your design repeat itself twice or a hundred times. Unlike using a printer, the handmade nature reveals itself in minute details that vary from print to print.
