This is what started it all. After taking a bookbinding class, I tinkered around a bit and was eventually inspired by an artist I had met that made purses from discarded books. Seeking to resurrect forgotten stories, I started creating journals from the covers of discarded books. After a decade of gifts, I decided to try selling.
